16th State Level Taekwondo Championship was held at Bangalore, Koramangala Indoor Stadium on November 25th, 26th and 27th.

Dhanush and Jayanth – students of class XI – Commerce Stream won 1st place and 3rd place in First State Level Karnataka School Games Karate Championship -2016 held in Bangalore.
Sripriya Tiwari of Class XI (Science) won the Bronze Medal in Adidas Uprising Tournament held on 1st & 2nd of October 2016.
Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Bangalore East was selected and nominated for hosting the CBSE Cluster VIII Table Tennis Tournament 2016-17 held on October 3rd, 4th and 5th 2016.
Around 35 schools and 300 + students participated in this tournament.
Sripriya Tiwari of Class XI(Science) won the Bronze Medal in CBSE Cluster VIII Table Tennis Tournament, Under – 19 Girls Singles.
Sripriya and Isai Meghala of Class XI(Science) won the Bronze Medal in CBSE Cluster VIII Table Tennis Tournament, Under – 19 Girls Doubles.
On 11th November 2016 – Ujjval Kumar, Nithin Reddy (Class X) and Sai Prasad Jadi (Class IX) participated in the Green Hackathon competition organized by Reap Benefit. The aim of the competition was to create a device that would help conserve energy or water.
The team won the ‘Best Green Hack’ award and a one-year mentorship with the NGO.
The students were also featured in an article in The Economic Times.
On 10th and 11th, November 2016 students of class XI(Science stream) participated in the AAROHAN – Science Fest organized by Amrita Engineering College. The students won several events in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.
Rickety Links – is a game of 4 players in each team and a time-based game of 3 minutes. All the 4 players are given links. The game area is spread with balls of 3 colors – Blackball (-ve score), Yellow ball (+1 ) & White ball (+2). Players are supposed to use only one hand and using the link to push the balls to the target areas. The team that scores the most number of balls in the target area in the given time wins the game. |

Bot Wars – is a 5 minutes game of 3 players in each team. The players play football using bots controlled by Bluetooth devices. The task of players of each team is to take a cubical ball into the opponent’s goal post and score. The team that scores high is the winner of the game. |
